Clew Bay Hotel - Westport

Darren, the hotel owner, personally assisted in cleaning bird droppings off my car during a rainstorm, showcasing amazing hospitality. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly interactions made our two-night stay nice.

Food was very good in restuarant

Doesn't look great from the outside, but it was pleasantly nice inside with welcoming staff. The rooms were decent size with a fantastic modern bathroom. Great hotel to stay in, TV could be updated, but not a problem if your not wanting to watch anything. The entrance of the hotel is well kept with lots of photos of the region. Didn't eat there as it was within walking distance to the main street where you can enjoy an Irish meal. The hotel gives you free access to the local pools, this is a great add on to your stay.

The location was ideal for our family adventure, but

The noise from the street made it a bit difficult to sleep at night. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast options were excellent.

Staff were excellent, verty comfortable rooms and very clean.

High-class and newly remodelled hotel, affable staff in all areas, everything was excellent. Incredible location in westport. Also - really close to the centre of town, other tourist locations and shops in the town.

The quirky decor added charm, but noisy guests disrupted our sleep.

Marvellous and fab location, at a medium distance from Mulranny Golf Club. Very welcoming staff interactions. Exceptionally comfortable bed, good size bathroom and TV, an ironing set and a work desk in the room...

The main thing was the peace and quiet even though it is on a main street. Also very clean and linen changed each day.

I would have to think hard. My T.V. was'n working but was fixed in no time.

Great Family Stay with Good Breakfast

We enjoyed three comfortable nights in a Classic Twin Room. The breakfast spread was a standout feature-self-service cereals and fresh fruit complemented by freshly cooked hot options. The staff were professional and cute. For dining, the bar food was great, especially the salmon. Secure parking is a must!

Recommend for a weekend adventure

Comfortable room, attentive staff, enjoying the delicious Irish breakfast made to order and the convenience of easy access to nearby parking for exploring the area.

Couldn't ask for more.

I liked the cleaniness the staff and the location of the hotel. It is central to all areas ie Knock, Achill, Conemara,etc.

Its hard to put down what you didnt like without it being a com[paint in some form or another. The only thing I disliked about my stay was no sky channels available or teletex in our room.

Spotless and reasonably large room with tea and double bed, and there's public parking onsite, if you travel by car. The dining room serves bangers and bacon in the morning.
